November
We are embarking upon the 2021 school year. It marks a year different than any other we have ever experienced and as with any major change, the transition to online learning will be a learning experience for all of us. Despite challenges and bumps in the road, we are excited for all of the growth and celebrations this school year will bring.
In Durham Public Schools’ we see this as an opportunity to share knowledge, empower and promote awareness through remote learning district wide. We would like to announce that we have created a plan to do just that this year. During each month, there will be focus on a character trait as well as other designated celebrations. NEW FOR NOVEMBER...special thanks goes out to DPS media coordinators for preparing virtual Bitmoji libraries filled with links to electronic literature for all grades (K-12) related to our monthly celebrations.
Whenever you post anything related to DPS Celebrations on social media, please use the hashtag #DPSCelebrates! so that we can celebrate together!
